Quick reminder to please use the contact form (https://townofrichfordwi.gov/contact-us/) or give a town board member a call (https://townofrichfordwi.gov/town-staff/) to report storm damage such as road obstructions, washouts, flooding, and the like. There have been erroneous facebook posts which is taking time away from the true issues. Should we need to close off a road for an extended period of time that information will be posted on the website.
Saturday, September 13 is Building & Grounds Clean-Up Day! We start at 8AM. Some of the projects include trim up trees, install hitching posts, pick up litter, trim overgrown areas, lay wood chips under playground equipment, and repair benches. Bring your work gloves, a rake, and a trimmer if possible. Chainsaw experts welcome! Refreshments will be provided. Please call or text Julia at 715.223.5367 or email [email protected] if you plan to attend so we can get a base number of participants and what equipment they may bring.
11th Ave Bridge Guardrail is complete. We will be using the old guardrail for the parking lot at the Town Hall/Community Center. Replacement of the 9th Ave Bridge Guardrail will be a budgetary item for 2026.
11th Dr near the intersection of Cottonville Av is open to full traffic. There is a patch of gravel where the new cross culvert was installed. This section will be asphalted in the fall when the road receives a complete chip seal. Note that 11th Dr will be 100% closed during the chip seal. A notice will be posted on the website when this occurs. Thank you everyone who abided by the signage we placed.
The September Monthly Meeting will be the second Monday – September 8 due to the labor day holiday.
